Service and customer relation excellent.
It was a very positive experience. All the staff members were extremely knowledgeable and courteous.
They were honest, hardworking, and moderately priced. Very professional :-)
Excellent service. Awesome job. Thanks guys!
I took my pickup in for what I thought was the carrier bearing. Manual transmission, making ugly noises while running in gear. After discussing it with the folks at the shop, I could be looking are a very expensive differential rebuild. Heck, I was pricing new trucks by this time.
They discovered a missing mount on the transmission (from a prior fix at another shop) and a bad u-joint. Where they could have milked a lot of money out of me, they were completely honest with me and only charged me the $150 it cost to fix the problem. Will definitely recommend them and use them for any problems that arise in the future.
I had a very favorable experience at the Washington Blvd AAMCO center and would not hesitate to use them again or recommend them.
Excellent service as always!
The AAMCO team correctly diagnosed the A/C issue on my son's car when another mechanic completely missed it. Then they fixed it and everything is working properly now. They were trustworthy and a pleasure to work with.
My 2006 Buick Lucerne was shifting erratically. AAMCO in Sarasota assessed it, explained the problem, showed me the problem, advised me of options, and rebuilt my transmission. Ian McHardy was great to work with. It was a big decision to put money into this car. I was 900 miles from home. He was very helpful. Took me into the shop, helped me assess my car, laid out the options very well. I'm very happy with the service I received. Ian was great to work with.
Was totally thrilled with my experience with Ian and his crew. I had a check engine light that was transmission related. Another transmission shop basically took the 'engine code' as gospel and wanted to take the transmission out and replace a sensor. Ian's mechanic (Bull) cleared the code, drove the truck, and did his Sherlock Holmes thing. Basically he found that my spark plug wire and the ground wire for the transmission had arced and sent a code to the computer indicating a faulty speed sensor. Bottom line, truck is cool, no transmission work needed, just new spark plug cables. Great to know that there are car service pro's that actually know what they're doing! Great experience and will be going back for regular maintenance!
I just had a wonderful experience at an auto repair shop. AAMCO on Washington Blvd in Sarasota is my new best place! I took my 2008 Toyota RAV4 in because I was hearing a heavy thudding noise under the car. They diagnosed the problem and repaired it. The work was completed in a very timely manner. That’s the business part. But, that’s not the reason for my writing this 5 STAR review. Any car repair shop can fix the car, but what will keep me coming back to this AAMCO is the courtesy, respect and, yes, kindness with which I was treated. There was even some (oh heck, a lot of) humor and interesting conversation. On my first call to the shop, Ian, the owner, greeted me with a lively “can we help you?” manner. They did not try to up-sell me anything. A woman can feel very comfortable in this shop. I will recommend the AAMCO in Sarasota to family and friends when they need auto work.
Ian and his team were absolutely phenomenal! I was heading out of town for the weekend and was able to drop off my truck on Friday. They took care of everything I needed done to my vehicle on Saturday and I was able to pick it up bright and early the following Monday morning. I love a team willing to work weekends and fit my schedule! They will be handling all future repairs I have and any maintenance needs. I’d give them a 10/10 and would highly recommend them!
